I am Joonas Mankki, a software developer, consultant and small business owner working mainly with the Adobe Flash -platform. Me and my company are located in the southwest Finland, in the beautiful city of Turku. I'm specialized in code-oriented, rich internet application type projects involving features such as digital image processing, sound manipulation, video playback, 3D effects and such. I also like to experiment with the Flash -technology, always trying to push the limits of the platform.
I've been a full-time Flash developer from 2003, and during this time I've been privileged to participate in some truly kick-ass projects. In this blog I try to share the various ideas and experiences (even mistakes) I think are worth sharing in hopes that it will be a useful source of information for like-minded people in the same industry. So sometimes it might get quite technical, and sometimes it will probably be just some mind flow stuff. And, of course, you're welcome to participate and debate!
